Victoria burst from the trees, risking a glance behind her. The zombie had been chasing her was gone. After being the darkened forest, the openness of the fields nearly blinded her. Victoria's breaths came in shallow gasps as she bent over. Finally, her eyes lifted the muddy ground to a house beyond. Her heart buoyed with hope. More supplies could be in there. She carefully hopped the fence, and continued toward it, her eyes darting for any signs of the house's previous inhabitants. She shielded her eyes as she walked, one hand clutching her arm. The blood from her gash is what probably attracted the thing in the first place, Victoria thought, squeezing her fingers tighter around the wound. Her holster swung awkwardly at her side, but the gun was out of bullets. She’d used the last of it to kill the zombie. She stumbled across the flat expanse, praying that the farmer had been one of those gun-toting crazy ones. If I was still in Texas, there would be plenty, she thought, a grin flashing her face. But she was so far from Texas, she didn't even know where she was. Victoria allowed her mind to wander. Georgia? She was pretty sure it was.

Alex had been walking down a dirt road when he had seen a, what seem like abandoned house. Alex looked over to his satchel and thought to himself, "I do need supplies..." Alex looked back up and jumped over the fence that was there. Alex felt the nice soft grass on impact with the ground. Alex let out a soft smile and returned to his normal expression. Alex looked around the sides of the house to see if anyone was there but he didn't see anyone. Finally Alex cuffed his hands together and started a slight yell so anyone in the house would be able to hear him but nobody in the woods would be able to hear him. Alex said, "Is anyone there? Hello? Anyone" Alex uncuffed his hand and started to walk towards the house. Alex Valentine Char.

Victoria continued through the field, clutching her wounded arm tighter. She'd need to stop the bleeding, and fast. It was going to attract more zombies. She increased her pace until she was nearly upon the house. Dark spots started to swim before her eyes. Pain and lack of sleep tended to do that to a person and right now Victoria was running on fumes. She stepped up and onto the porch cautiously, her eyes darting around the rotted wood structure. She jumped as a voice sounded from beside the house. She whirled around, a shaking hand grabbing for her pistol. "Who's out there?"

Alex had heard the voice as if it was a bullet whizzing by his head, ducking down he could here.the voice was coming from the frount of the house, Alex started walking to the frount of the house saying "Hey, im coming to the frount of the house, i'll have my hands up." Alex wasn't sure if this was the right thing to do, but he was running out of supplies and he needed food so this seemed like the best thing he could do. Alex walking to the frount of the house with his hands up, like he said be would. Alex just hoped he wouldn't get shot.

Victoria lowered her gun, if slightly. He was young, maybe older than her. "Is there anyone else? And don't lie. You'll get a bullet in the leg." Her lips twisted into a grimace as she dropped the gun to knee height to cement her words into his mind. Not that she could shoot it anyway. The gangs sometimes sent ahead scouts and she wasn't in the mood to messed with. Let their dog come back limping.

"No, I'm all by my self." Alex looked at the woman's arm, then back to her face. Alex rubbed his face with his right hand and said "Well, my works cut out for me." in low whisper almost to himself. "look, I'm gonna' be brutally honest here, your arm is bleeding, badly, at that too." Alex said as he rubbed his chest. "I'm gonna' blunt on this matter, if you don't get help your gonna' die." Alex started to walk slowly, very slowly towards this woman. Alex was worried about her, but also worried about her gun. "Might have cut and artery, of Jesus, that would bad." Alex whispered to him self again.

It was foolish decision to trust him. But Victoria did it anyway. "That's why I came here in the first place, to look for first aid." Did he think she was that stupid? Victoria re holstered her gun and shouldered the door open, not waiting to see if he followed. The bathroom was her first stop. She started to paw through the drawers, biting her tongue as she watched the blood flecks stain the wood.

Alex followed through the door, but Alex first went up the stairs to look for a bed room. Alex walked into a hallway that had a decaying wooden floor. The wood was stained with moss. The walls had scratch marks on them, probably from a past fight. Alex walked into a small bedroom, the room had with in it a broken desk and pile of clothes. "Jack pot!" Alex said. "Now if only I can get some whiskey." Alex grabbed a long-sleeve shirt and ripped the sleeves off. Alex looked out a window to see that a car was approaching the house with loud banging noise like the engine was dieing. "Dang it!" Alex said as he ran out the room, down the stairs, and into the bathroom. "Hey, there's a car coming. We better get movein' or hide, I don't really care. which it is." As Alex said this he pulled out his hunting rifle which was hanging from his satchel. (kinda inside and outside if that makes sense.) Alex walked over to the window to watch the car.

Victoria pulled the roll of bandages free and started to wrap it around the wound quickly. She went to join the man at the window. "We'd better just run. I'm out of bullets." She ducked as the car door opened. Two voices could be heard through the broken window. "Unless you can think you can handle them." She jerked her head toward the rifle in his hand. Who knows, maybe they could have more supplies then this wrecked and raided house.

"lets try to wait em' out" Said Alex, "I don't wanna' waste ammo on them to find out that they don't have anything." After Alex said that he heard a wooden plank fall down, he looked back quickly to see nothing there. Alex got out his .48 caliber revolver and put his rifle back into his satchel. "Lets watch them first, see what they do."
